Terms and Conditions for Music & Movement Class for Kids

By using our website and registering for the Music & Movement Class for Kids ("Event"), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Use"). Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you should not use the website or register for the Event.

1. General Terms

1.1 Eligibility
The Event is intended for children aged 3-9 and is available to legal guardians of children who meet the age requirement. By registering your child, you confirm that they fall within the intended age range.

1.2 Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use. If you are registering a child for the Event, you represent and warrant that you are the child's legal guardian and have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Event Registration

2.1 Registration Process
To participate in the Music & Movement Class for Kids, you must complete the registration process on the website, providing accurate and complete information. This may include your child’s name, age, and your contact details.

2.2 Payment
If there is a fee associated with the Event, payment must be made at the time of registration. You agree to provide accurate payment details and agree to pay the applicable fees as described during the registration process.

2.3 Event Date and Time
Once your registration is confirmed, you will be provided with the scheduled Event date and time. You are responsible for ensuring that you and your child are available to attend the Event at the scheduled time. There will be no reschedules for no-shows.

3. Liability Disclaimer

3.1 Assumption of Risk
By registering for the Event, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with virtual events, including but not limited to technical issues, disruptions, or potential injury during physical activity. You assume full responsibility for ensuring your child’s safety during the Event.

3.2 Supervision Requirement
You agree that a responsible adult (parent, guardian, or trusted adult) must be present and actively supervise the child during the Event. The supervising adult should be in the same room or easily accessible to the child.

3.3 Health and Medical Fitness
You confirm that your child is fit to participate in physical activity, including dancing, and has no medical conditions that would prevent them from engaging in such activities. You are responsible for consulting with a healthcare professional if your child has any concerns.

3.4 Safe Environment
You are responsible for ensuring that the area where your child participates in the Event is clear of hazards and safe for dancing. Child should not be dancing on beds, sofas, trampolines, or any elevated or unstable surface. You agree to provide adequate space and supervision to ensure your child's safety.  If your child needs to use headphones to avoid disturbing others, please ensure they are cordless (Bluetooth). Wired headphones can pose a tripping or entanglement hazard.  Child should be fully dressed in appropriate, comfortable attire for movement and dancing.

4. Event Recording and Privacy

4.1 Recording of the Event
The Event may be recorded for quality assurance and security purposes. By participating, you consent to your child’s participation in the recording. The recording may capture group activities and will be used for internal purposes.  You do have the option of turning the video off via Zoom, If you do not wish for your child to appear in the recording.

4.2 Chat Feature

The chat function will be available for communication with the host only. Children will not be able to chat with other participants during the event to ensure a safe environment.

4.3 Participants Will Be Muted

All participants will be muted upon entry to maintain a clear and enjoyable experience for everyone. 

4.4 Privacy and Data Protection
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you provide. Any personal data collected during registration will be used solely for Event purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

5. Prohibited Conduct

5.1 Behavioral Expectations
You agree that both the child and the supervising adult will behave respectfully during the Event. Any disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in the child being removed from the Event. The host reserves the right to take action if necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

5.2 No Use of Hazardous Materials
For the safety of all participants, the use of strobe lights, flashing lights, or any other equipment that could pose a risk to participants’ health (such as items that could trigger seizures) is strictly prohibited during the Event.   

5.3 Props and Equipment

Children may bring their favorite props (such as microphones, glow sticks, hats, stuffed animals, etc.) to enhance their experience. However, any props used should be safe and should not present a risk of injury. Props should be appropriate for the child’s age and should not be dangerous in any way (e.g., avoid sharp or breakable items).

6. Technical Issues and Platform Limitations

6.1 Technical Difficulties
The Event will be hosted via Zoom.  We are not responsible for any technical issues or disruptions that may arise due to internet connectivity problems, platform outages, or other external factors. We recommend ensuring a stable internet connection for the best experience.

6.2 Platform Access
Participants must log in to the Event using the email address provided during registration. Please ensure that you have access to the necessary technology and software to join the Event.

7. Payment and Cancellations

7.1 No Reschedules or Refunds
Once you have registered for the Event, you understand that there will be no rescheduling or refunds in the event of a no-show or cancellation by the participant.

7.2 Event Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, such as technical difficulties or emergencies. In such cases, we will notify registered participants as soon as possible. Participants will be offered the opportunity to attend a later scheduled event, but no refunds will be issued.

7.3 Tickets Purchased via Groupon

Tickets purchased through Groupon must adhere to the terms and conditions of Groupon, including their refund policy. Please refer to Groupon’s official Terms of Service for further details on refunds or cancellations related to Groupon-purchased tickets. We are not responsible for any refund requests made through Groupon.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 Unforeseen Events
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government actions.

9. Amendments to Terms

9.1 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the revised Terms will take effect immediately upon posting.
